Carin served as Dean: Teaching and Learning at The Da Vinci Institute, where she was responsible for the training and development of lecturing staff, as well as quality assurance of educational content. Prior to this, she served as Head of Professional Development and Education at CIPS Africa, where she was responsible for the development & delivery of the CIPS professional development and education strategy. Carin also served as Deputy Director: Secretariat at the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Additionally, she has supervised and supported hundreds of Masters and PhD students, facilitated research seminars and chaired multiple oral defences.
Carin completed her Masters of Public Management with the Regenesys School of Public Management. She then went on to complete her PhD with the Da Vinci Institute.
